Overview:
The project comprised three phases:
- Phase 1 involved repairing the main Pumping Station, featuring 2,000 gpm centrifugal pumps, a chlorination system, an emergency generator, and extensive piping.
- Phase 2 focused on repairing Sanitary and Industrial Sewer Lines using different construction methods such as cured-in-place pipe installation, open cut, and new manholes.
- Phase 3 centered on fixing the drainage section, demanding precise coordination by the contractor to navigate existing utilities, minimize utility outages, and ensure smooth traffic flow.
Details:
- The site work encompassed yard piping, utilities, site grading, chain link fencing, and an asphalt parking area.
- Yard piping installation was finished while ensuring coordination with the user to prevent any disruptions to the current water supply.
- The project involved the demolition of the existing pump station.
- Surface restoration was carried out as needed to restore paved and landscaped areas to their original condition.
